Holliava consists of 3 bars over 2 levels, a beer garden, water walls, chandelier booths,  and a private mezzanine retreat.

Whether you’re after a small space for 10 friends or a massive celebratetion for 130, Holliava has you covered. From Sunday to Thursday the entire venue is available for up to 230 people.

With the exception of the private mezzanine bar, none of our function spaces have hire fees or minimum spend requirements, and bar tab services are available for all areas.

For Function Food to suit all needs & budgets, we can highly recommend Degrees Catering. Degrees Catering operates independently of Holliava but they are a brilliant (and delicious) recommendation. Simply call or email them via their website, let them know you’re holding a function at Holliava and they will take care of the rest!

You can hire the whole venue free of charge on these days, and you can also play your own music.
Function food can be arrange through Degrees Catering.

The Perfect Space for
Private indulgence!
The Mezzanine retreat is your own private bar, just for you and your 50 best friends – enjoy! This space comes with its own bar, bartender and exclusive lounge & stand up function area. There is a minimum spend of $1000 if you choose to open the bar. But if you wish to reserve the area without opening the bar, no minimum spend requirements apply (just a hint though – its much, much better with your own private bar).Features

Lounging back in our enormous window booths with a group of friends to watch the world go by on Swan Street. Also perfect for warming up next to the open fire with a glass of wine and a pizza in winter, or chilling out on the window sill with a schooner in summer! By hiring out the fireplace area you’re making sure you and your mates get the best seats in the house – guaranteed.Features

The private booths are not reserved, they fill up on a first-come-first-serve basis. But give us a call and plead, plead, plead and we may be able to hold one for you!

Water Walls Area

Splashing Out!
Located within the heated, undercover beer garden at Holliava, the Water Walls area provides the perfect space for groups of up to 30 people. Breezy in summer, warm and dry in winter, this exclusive space is perfect all year round.Features

Holliava is easy to find – if you’re coming by train, just step off at Richmond Station (Swan Street exit) and bing! You’re there!
There is also a Swan Street tram that lands at our front door.

For anyone who is driving or calling a cab, we are at Melways Page 2G, G9.

For walkers, we are a 2 minute walk to the MCG, a 10 minute walk from the CBD, and a 16 hour flight from Hawaii, where the surf break Haleiwa lies (which is where we got the venue name!)
